Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I live in Sydney where I run a small IT business and facilitate programs aimed at lowering reoffends.
It’s boots on the ground work, and I love it. My other passion is reading (and writing) and in my spare time I run a book review blog called LOVEthatBOOK .
As a busy mum of three my clothes have to work hard but not work me hard (no ironing please!) and must be flexible enough to style for many occasions. I never need to worry about how I look when I wear LB and often use outfits as my secret weapon for important meetings or when I need a boost of confidence or courage.
You were the first person who had a chance to test the Melissa dress. What are your thoughts on our latest style ?
With ¾ sleeves and a longer skirt length, the Melissa dress is perfect for trans-seasonal dressing and is a dress to adapt to any occasion. The solid top and patterned skirt give a polished tucked in look. For work she looks fabulous with a jacket and heels, but she is equally divine when paired with a cardigan for the weekend or layered with a jumper, tights and boots. I love a pocket and feel a little bit lost without one! It’s a perfect travel dress.
Can you tell us a bit about your LB journey, how does it feel to have a dress named after you?
Not many people can claim they’ve had a dress named after them; I can hardly believe it myself. Becoming a customer model for LB last year had so many unexpected benefits including the delight of friendship with fellow models Kama-Jade Ghosn and Jessica Rose Drewery and becoming part of a community of strong, capable and kind women.
Our customer Supermodel, Melissa is a woman of many talents. She is a talented writer and a professional book connoisseur, she shares her passion for literature on her blog
When it comes to her day to day style, Melissa enjoys playing with fashion. She is a big fan of LB prints, quirky accessories and a proud owner of a show-stopping footwear collection.
For the love of supporting women. #womentribe
