Kate is a fun loving and totally gorgeous woman from Brisbane who made the trip down to us here on the Gold Coast to spend some time modelling our latest LB creations as one of our fabuolous #superrolemodels.
Where did you grow up and where do you live now?
I grew up in Brisbane and still live in Brisbane
What was your dream job growing up and is this what your doing now?
To become a vet. Definitely not what I ended up doing - I work in Human Resources.
What is one of your most defining moments in life?
I would say the birth of my child was quite significant in that it shifted my values and focus.
I actually had to think quite hard about this question, and for me I think I have lots of little moments through my life that do make me stop and think about various things - for example my own behaviors, situations, relationships etc.
It isn't necessarily that these are life defining moments, but they are moments that shape me as a person and what I give to the world. I guess it is just growth as a human being.
What are three of your favourite things to do?
Taking holidays, cooking and I love a good sleep in!
Your favourite aspect of being in the Leina Broughton Conversations Group?
It such a lovely, supportive group of women who share thoughts, ideas and opinions in a respectful and friendly way (hard to come across these days!!).
It is fabulous being able to see LB pieces on others and of course the sneak peeks!
Your “go to” LB piece?
Andi skirt - it can be dressed up or down and is super comfortable.
What is your favourite quote?
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. I am not actually sure who said this, but kindness can go such a long way.
If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The Rocky Horror theme song- haha no. I'll be by Edwin McCain is a beautiful song. Whilst most see it is as a love song, I take away the message that we can always better ourselves....what better message do we need every time we walk into a room
& last but not least, your favourite quote?
"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. I am not actually sure who said this, but kindness can go such a long way"
